Overview & Review of Webb Memorial Golf Course

Webb Memorial is considered the most popular BREC course. Large oak trees line the fairways of its 18-hole layout, and it’s ideally situated off of College Drive. Webb Memorial was originally built as a private club in the 1920’s in one of Baton Rouge’s most affluent neighborhoods. It opened in 1924 and became a municipal course in 1941.

The course underwent a significant makeover in 2006 (marking its first major renovation in more than 80 years). Improvements to irrigation keep fairways and greens lush and playable all year.
