The U.S. Kids Golf Foundation is a non-profit organization that encourages and teaches golf to children ages 5 to 14. They provide tournaments where kids start at local, beginner level courses and then go on to competing in State, Regional, and World Championships. Local Tours are for beginning golfers and are designed to help young golfers develop their skills while competing in a fun environment. They consist of eight, one-day tournaments where players earn points and awards, followed by a Local Championship on the last day. Parents are encouraged to caddie for their children (children under 8 must have a caddie), and a coaching program is available to help parents better connect with and teach their children.
The event is April 17, 2016 and Tee Times are posted two days prior to event date.
